PG & VG Guidelines
What does PG & VG mean?
PG & VG are the essential components needed to create both the liquid and the flavourings.
Propylene Glycol (PG) is a thin, tasteless liquid that produces a stronger “throat hit” compared to VG. This sensation simulates the feel of smoking more effectively. However, some individuals may be more sensitive to PG, making it unsuitable for their vaping preferences.
Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is a thick, sweet liquid that produces luscious clouds of vapour. It also imparts a sweeter taste to the liquid.
When choosing an e-liquid or juice, there are various PG & VG ratios available. The most common ratios include:
- 50/50: A balanced ratio of PG and VG, providing a smooth and satisfying vaping experience.
- 60/40: More VG than PG, resulting in a thicker, sweeter liquid with a stronger throat hit.
- 80/20: More VG than PG, offering a luscious and flavorful liquid with a more intense throat hit.
E-liquid is a mixture of varying amounts of three main ingredients: nicotine, propylene glycol, and vegetable glycerin. These ingredients are the foundation of creating all the delicious juices you desire.
